Alicia Foxworth is an artist, born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant. She seeks to create culturally affirming stories about communities of color and the life experiences they share with all of humanity. Her work is affectionately known as Brownstone Steps Entertainment, a love letter to the time and stories she shared with her father on the brownstone steps, the neighborhood where she was raised and the people that live there.
After the reading of her work today, let's talk about the environment and the urban sector and growing concerns that impact our quality of life and how we can be a part of our solutions moving forward to improve our quality of life and that of the next generation.
